Manager – Quality Assurance Engineering & Maintenance Full Time

To implement and run the approved audit program for Engineering & Maintenance ensuring adherence against company standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversees compliance with conditions, restrictions and limitation of the ‘Aircraft Maintenance Organization’ (AMO), ‘Continuing Airworthiness’ (CAMO).
2. Implements and oversees internal and external CAR M & CAR 145 related audits to cover all areas of flydubai Engineering & Maintenance.
3. Monitors compliance with mandatory regulations for aircraft (including the engine and all equipment) through a comprehensive oversight program.
4. Reviews all flydubai Engineering & Maintenance manuals to ensure continued compliance with regulations prior to GCAA submission.
5. Oversight of the Engineering and Maintenance Audits
6. Reviews and prepares all applications related to licensing and continued qualification of all Maintenance personnel for company authorizations.
7. Review resources and training requirements for quality assurance engineers
8. Ensures that all service providers are audited for compliance compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements and coordinates with them for any discrepancies found.
9. Acts as the focal point of all requests from the GCAA in relation to Engineering & Maintenance matters.
10. Reviews all Engineering & Maintenance systems, policies and procedures for compliance against company standards and regulatory requirements.
11. Ensures that non-compliance issues arising from audit program in relation to Engineering & Maintenance are adequately addressed to the respective Managers for necessary action.
12. Provides guidance to flydubai Maintenance personnel on external authority licensing applications and examinations.
13. In conjunction with Senior Manager Quality Assurance liaise with the GCAA on matters pertaining to airworthiness and any subject related to authority rules and regulations.
14. Deputizing for the Senior Manager Quality Assurance, as required.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education Level Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (or Equivalent)

Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) – 7
• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) – 10

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

• ICAO type 2 license.
• Recognized auditing accreditation/Training & recognized aircraft maintenance training.
