Microgrid Systems Design Engineer Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Microgrid Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

What You’ll Do

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microgrid design principles, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and implementing Microgrid applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical systems/solution for Microgrid application for both Software and hardware .
• Expertise in the energy storage solution design and application .
• Analyze electrical load requirements, calculate voltage drop, and determine appropriate circuit protection to propose suitable MV solutions to Clients.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Close engagement with Consultants/PMCs for technical approvals.
• Troubleshoot electrical system problems and provide technical support to End Users /PMC & Consultants.
• Stay up-to-date on latest electrical codes and standards
• Collaborate with End Users/EPCs & Consultants on project development and early engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for industrial applications

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC other applicable electrical codes and standards
• Proficient in electrical design software
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
