Pharmacist – Warehouse Full Time

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver a comprehensive, professional and cost effective warehouse pharmaceutical service in line with safety standards and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Ensure adherence to state and federal drug laws regulated by DOH and MOH.
• Periodic check & Maintain warehouse as per regulatory requirements.
• Receiving of items from vendor based on PO according to Mediclinic standards.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory, goods receipts & goods issued.
• Periodic check & Segregation of near expiry and damaged drugs from the store inventory.
• Ensure consistent inventory supply, process orders, and manage the distribution of materials and supplies.
• Coordinate the internal purchasing system to create an efficient procurement process, ensuring timely delivery.
• Utilize rigorous data analysis to minimize variation in key business processes.
• Complete supply chain operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow.
• Verify the preparation and distribution of orders and supplies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
• Report variances and discrepancies to the Unit Manager for resolution.
• Monitor and report on in-store and competitive activities as they relate to category performance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

B.Pharm degree from an accredited education institution.

Must be licensed as a Pharmacist by DOH Abu Dhabi

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a Pharmacy warehouse /procurement.
