Piping Designer Full Time

Job Description

We are currently seeking Piping Designers, you will be operationally reporting to the Area Lead and functionally to Piping-HOD, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.




About The Role:

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:

• Develop Plot Plans and Equipment layouts
• Perform Piping Routing Studies, especially compressors, pumps, air-cooled exchangers etc.
• Establish pipe rack configuration
• Pro-active, co-operating, and dutiful.
• Performs 3D equipment modelling.
• Performs piping modelling using SP3D / E3D and pipe supports modelling using SP3D & MDS based on piping studies.
• Routes minor lines and incorporates modifications and changes.
• Performs various checks line RDB, clash check etc.
• Produces piping related drawings including details, isometrics etc.
• Extract isometrics and piping GA drawings from the 3D model.
• Performs piping MTO.
• Co-ordinates with other designers/engineers.
• Reports the progress of his works.
• Checks/comments on Vendor drawings.

About You:

• Holds a certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum 8-13 years of experience in oil/gas onshore and offshore facilities.
• Should have at least 4-6 years of working experience in 3D environment using PDMS or SP3D software.
• Must have working knowledge of E3D and SP3D software.
• Other software like AutoCAD, Microstation etc. is required.
• Experience in field engineering activities will be an added advantage.
