Project & Maintenance Engineer Full Time

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This position is responsible for leading the Projects and maintenance activities on the site by planning, organizing, and following up on assets and property to ensure reliable and cost-efficient operations and quality.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and will be based in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design projects by taking input from stakeholders and following Jotun standards and requirements
• Plan, coordinate & execute maintenance and project activities with internal and external stakeholders (Consultant, Contractors, Local Authority).
• Manage maintenance activities and ensure that the tasks are executed as planned to meet end-user requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement activities using the Jotun Operations System.
• Ensure that internal and external Health Safety Environment Quality (HSEQ) requirements are followed.
• Ensure that the Matrix Maintenance System responsibility area is always up to date, at least data from work orders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has a bachelor’s degree in the electrical or instrument engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project & Maintenance functions in the manufacturing field.
• Fluency in English language is a requirement.
• Experience in project management, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), SLD.
• Experience in Auto CADD, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Lean Six Sigma concepts in maintenance functions (is advantageous).
