Proposal Engineer (Equipment Sales) Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

– Understand the clients requirements, interpret the data given and request client to provide the missing information.

– Finalize scheme, select suitable equipment models, and prepare proposals.

– Liaise with sales coordinator and support in keeping the enquiry log updated.

– Coordinate with ACAD engineer to prepare schematics, layouts, P&ID’s.

– Prepare technical submittals, method statements, O&M manuals

– Coordinate with the factory or suppliers in getting relevant quotes, technical documents, warranty certificates, documents etc.

– Liaise with the service team and provide them with all the relevant documents to handover the project.

– Liaise with the logistics team and keep track on the order placement and deliveries. Ensure all special labelling and packing details have been communicated in writing to logistics.

– Any other technical support requested by the sales team.

Job Requirements:

– Education – Bachelors in Engineering

– 2 – 3 years of experience as a proposal engineer in a water treatment / chemical industry

– Excellent communication and human relationship skills, able to create good rapport with both external and internal customers alike.

– Have the experience and ability to independently manage and help sales team win strategic bids.
