Detailed missions and activities:
Perform quality and airworthiness inspections for the Satair Spares Centre.
Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs, especially concerning airworthiness and regulatory matters.
Ensure complete accuracy of all incoming products upon receipt in alignment with Satair quality objectives.
Accept the consignment against delivery order/note or packing list. Unpack and check the delivered items are correct and in line with existing quality rules and defined inspection plans.
Contact the Buyer and/or Quality Dept in the event of any discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received. In case any discrepancies found all must be reported into the claim database.
Carry out all required inspections and checks as per locally defined requirements.
Report any Suspected Unapproved Parts to the Manager (Director) Quality.
Perform Goods Receipt into ERP in accordance with described procedure.
Maintain all appropriate records.
Participate in a job rotation scheme.
Report any change in supplier performance.
Participate in cross functional training/work when requested to support the Warehouse operation.
Comply with Satair mission, values and Quality Management procedures.
Keep the Manager – Warehouse informed of the status of agreed tasks and of any critical problem areas.
Participate in optimizing company business procedures through companys IT systems, including the ERP.
Comment/advise on undesirable conditions within the organization, and propose potential solutions for improvements.
Identify and offer suggestions to improve efficiency.
Be well informed about and familiar with the latest developments in company’s business. To participate in occupational safety and health efforts. To contribute towards a positive and inspiring working environment.
Perform inspection procedures and issue on demand appropriate certificates on all outgoing NEW and Serviceable (USED) material.
Accept the responsibility for a rotating 24-hour On-Call shift schedule.
Assist in the performance of internal quality audits.
Compile QM/spares data into Statistical reports used to measure the effectiveness of Satair Quality Management Procedures.
Provide Discrepancy Reports and Unserviceable Tags on non-conforming material, New and Used.
Monitor and follow up of storage conditions on all Spares to comply with Aviation regulations.
Functional Experience/IT Skills
Familiarization with aerospace quality control & quality assurance (2-5 years).
Thorough knowledge of aircraft operations, systems and maintenance practices (2-5 years).
Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or Quality Management (or Degree of equivalentwork experience in relevant field).
Position based in Dubai (UAE)
Direct reporting to HO Warehouse Management
