Regional Sales Manager Full Time

Job Summary

Creates a sales plan and quota for districts to support national objectives. Forecasts requirements, prepares an annual budget, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions to meet regional sales objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base and managing staff.
• Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
• Prepares and completes action plans and implements production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary.
• Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts supporting national objectives.
• Maintains and expands customer base by counselling district sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
• Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts.
• Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions and employee enforcing policies and procedures.
• Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities or products, packaging and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and tracking competitors.
• Focusing on growing and developing existing clients in modern and general trade and generating new business.
• Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender businesses,
• You will be the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
• In charge of Contracts, agreements and negotiations

Job Requirements

• Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts supporting national objectives.
• Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success.
• Strong account management and relationship building skills.
• Experience of managing major national accounts at head office level.
• Highly self-motivated.
