Reservations Agent Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Reservation Management: Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine the appropriate room type.
• Availability Verification: Confirm the availability of room types and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Special Requests: Accommodate and document special guest requests, ensuring that all needs are met according to company standards.
• Guest Interaction: Answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations. Provide clear and professional communication with guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Sales Techniques: Utilize effective sales techniques to maximize room revenue. Input and access data in the reservation system accurately.
• Escalation Procedures: Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
• Company Policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, supporting collective goals.
• Physical Requirements: Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: No prior related work experience required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
