As a Trainer, you are responsible for the training and coaching of sales teams with the objective of developing excellence and supporting the performance of the store. By executing the corporate strategy, you train the teams to become ambassadors of the spirit, values and products of the Maison Dior. Your role is to define with the Shop Manager the best training path in five main areas: corporate culture, product expertise, customer experience, management, and retail operations.
This allows teams to develop their skills with the goal of creating a strong relationship with their customers and enriching their experience at Dior, making it memorable and unique.
Reporting hierarchically and functionally to the Training Manager of ME zone. You communicate and execute the training strategy of the Maison Dior.
Your duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coaching and Training the Sales Team
Develop a floor-coaching culture and blended learning culture (in person and online): you help Managers develop individual coaching plans after conducting an analysis of the performance of each of their Salespeople, and to supervise their teams. Through listening and active observation, you coach team members at all levels according to their needs.
In collaboration with the Merchandising team, explain the business issues and facilitate product training on Jewelry & timepieces.
Develop styling skills for all sellers: understanding customer needs, their morphology, building the ideal silhouette, optimizing cross-selling.
Ensure that clients receive the best possible attention and personalized service, at the height of the level of excellence expected by the House. This customer experience will evolve and enrich itself based on the results of the NPS and Mystery Shopping programs and the inherent action plans.
Build a relationship of trust and proximity with Managers by sharing regular and constructive feedback on the performance and progress of team members.
Identify potential talents within teams to actively support them in their career development plan. Encourage them to pass on skills and expertise (mentoring, inspiration).
Ensure that the management team has a complete visibility on training activities (agenda, priorities, change, challenges etc.)
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs: manage and monitor the quality and impact of all in-store training via monitoring tools (in collaboration with the management team). Ensure an active presence on the floor to observe the implementation of the programs.
Manage the engagement of teams and the follow-up of the e-learning tool, ensuring that all training courses are followed in their entirety. Master the back-office of e-learning to regularly share the results with managers and rehire teams if necessary.
Collaborate regularly with the Europe training team to share best practices and initiate new ideas, methods, tools… to ensure excellence in the field of in-store training.
Requirements And Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in a management position and 2 years in a training position, preferably in retail.
Excellent knowledge and a strong interest in luxury, customer experience and sales are essential.
Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
Good knowledge and mastery of blended learning: traditional and current training methods (mentoring, coaching, face-to-face and/or distance training, e-learning, digital tools, workshop, briefing, etc.)
Excellent communication and animation skills (oral and written), highlighting creativity and audacity.
Strong interpersonal skills, great ability to listen knowing how to influence and motivate others. Demonstrate flexibility, respect and benevolence. Team spirit is a must.
A person seeking excellence in their work, with good organizational skills, results-oriented and having the ability to work under duress and within tight deadlines (being able to face complex and challenging situations with a positive approach and seeking effective solutions).
Great legitimacy in the development of the customer relationship.
Diploma or certification in the field of training is an advantage
Excellent mastery of the Pack-office.
