Accountant
Senior Accountant Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage financial transactions, including receivables and payables
- Reconcile sub-ledgers and ledgers, and prepare financial statements
- Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements
- Generate regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Identify cost-saving measures and improve operational efficiency
- Mentor and supervise accounting team members
- Enhance accounting systems and procedures
- Support and coordinate the company’s annual external audit
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management and accounting
- Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
- Master’s Degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
