JOB PURPOSE
Monitor the data in a continuous effort to ensure compliance, completeness and provide governance on information created during the progressive stages of the EPC Stage of the project through to handover to Operations. Effective monitoring and governance will help to ensure accuracy, relevance and timeliness for the digital asset handover and delivery providing a focus for Project Information Management on Technical and Non-technical information.
The Sr. Project Information Management Engineer will serve as focal point for all CONTRACTORS’ engineering disciplines and assume responsibility for resolving SmartPlant issues across all EPC Contractors.
The Sr. Project Information Management Engineer will ensure engineering data created by the EPC meets the projects specification with an emphasis on quality, consistency and completeness.The Sr. Project Information Management Engineer monitors data created entered by EPC for compliancy, consistency, accuracy and globally entered in the integrated environment.
Supports the EPC in creation of appropriate Project Information Management strategy and plans covering systems’ implementation, application in engineering design, supplier and Client information both within the individual project packages and across project interfaces, etc. to ensure consistent systems’ implementation.
EPC information co-ordination and interface including non-engineering data. Manage queries with Core Team, data delivery and data exchange, knowledgeable of Hexagon tools, audits for compliance and governance.
