Storekeeper Full Time

Noorka Logistics is looking for a dedicated Storekeeper to join our team in Dubai. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams, and supervising warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely and accurate receipt of shipments.
• Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Keep detailed records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Optimize the storage of goods, ensuring an organized and efficient layout.
• Properly label and store products under appropriate conditions.
• Allocate tasks to staff and monitor their performance.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy, focusing on batch and expiry tracking.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise and train storekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong command of English and an additional Asian language is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
