If you are an experienced supply chain professional seeking a growth opportunity, Emerson offers an exciting role in Dubai, supporting the Emerson Discrete Automation Business Unit. You will lead sourcing strategies for its products for its customers across Middle East & Africa, ensuring alignment with Emerson’s global objectives. In this role, you will:

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Procurement Management: Handle procurement orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely order acknowledgments, resolving discrepancies, and adjusting orders based on demand changes (pull-in/push-out). Oversee the phase-in of new parts and phase-out of obsolete ones.
• Strategic Supply Chain Development: Develop and implement short- and long-term sourcing strategies that align with global objectives. Collaborate with Customer Service Team, Operations, Logistics and Manufacturing plant to identify cost-saving opportunities, including alternate sourcing, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
• Supplier Performance Management: Track and supervise key performance metrics like timely Delivery (OTD) and lead times. Conduct monthly supplier performance reviews and create action plans to address delivery delays and process inefficiencies.
• Inventory Optimization: Set and handle inventory parameters such as safety stock, lead times, and order quantities. Monitor inventory levels to meet production needs and service level targets while maintaining purchasing integrity in Oracle.
• Material and Production Planning: Lead material and production planning efforts, applying forecasting models to anticipate demand and adjust procurement strategies as needed to ensure timely production output.
• Supplier Invoices and Payments: Validate and approve supplier invoices, particularly those that cannot be automatically matched. Ensure timely payments through coordination with finance and procurement teams.
• Flawless Execution and Customer Satisfaction: Lead initiatives focused on flawless execution to ensure on-time deliveries and exceed customer expectations, improving overall customer satisfaction.
• Leading Procurement Team: Lead and drive team of buyers to place purchase orders and get timely acknowledgement from suppliers and factory and meeting the critical metric set for the team

This role requires strong adaptability, effective communication with suppliers and internal teams, and a focus on both immediate and long-term objectives. You will bring analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize Emerson’s supply chain operations across the Middle East & Africa.

Who you are?

• Ideally, you will have experience in Supply chain activities working in operations environment and have knowledge on Sales & Operations planning for industrial products.
• Knowledgeable of business systems such as ERP and other planning tools

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Having worked for Industrial products such as pneumatic products in Procurement and planning role.
