Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Partner (Tech) at Wheely, you will play a crucial role in scaling our engineering and product teams. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior engineering and product management roles across multiple locations, with a primary focus on the UK and Cyprus. This role offers high autonomy, allowing you to shape our recruitment processes, contribute to enhancing our HR brand, and help us attract top talent to power Wheely’s growth.




Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Cycle Recruitment
   • Lead recruitment for senior engineering and product management positions across Wheely’s key locations (UK and Cyprus).
   • Manage the complete recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making offers.
2. Recruitment Process Improvement
   • Contribute to shaping and optimizing Wheely’s recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
3. Employer Branding & PR
   • Partner with marketing teams to help improve Wheely’s HR brand by participating in various PR and marketing activities aimed at attracting top talent.
4. Networking & Community Engagement
   • Leverage your network in the UK and Cyprus tech/startup ecosystems to identify and engage top-tier talent.
   • Stay connected with the wider tech community to maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates.
5. Team Growth (Future Potential)
   • Initially an individual contributor (IC) role, with the potential to build and grow a recruitment team as the company scales.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in tech recruitment, specifically within engineering roles, at an international startup, scale-up, or large tech company.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for senior engineering and product management positions.
• Tech Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of modern technologies, frameworks, and languages used by top-tier tech companies.
  • Familiarity with the UK and EU startup, tech, and VC ecosystems.
• Networking:
  • Established network within the UK or Cyprus tech community, especially with a focus on startups and scaleups.
• Cross-Cultural & Cross-Border Experience:
  • Experience working with global and cross-cultural teams is highly valued.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with a client-centered approach.
  • Strong self-discipline, autonomy, and the ability to work independently.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK and European tech talent markets.
• Language:
  • Fluent in English.
