Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on pipeline equipment in line with established procedures and work permit requirements.
Execute ‘pigging’ operations on pipelines following company protocols.
Record readings at various cathodic protection test points and report any anomalies.
Patrol pipelines to identify and report unauthorized or hazardous activities near the right of way.
Supervise contractors and third parties working on or near pipeline assets to prevent damage.
Monitor pipeline systems and document field process parameters.
Ensure availability of necessary tools, spares, and maintenance equipment.
Prepare scopes of work, including safety requirements, permits, special tools, and materials.
Qualifications:
Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
Approximately 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
