Traffic/ NOC Engineer Full Time

Job Summary:

The Traffic/NOC Engineer will oversee traffic management and coordination with authorities to ensure the smooth approval and implementation of projects related to road and infrastructure. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of traffic analysis and engineering software tools, as well as experience working on infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage Design NOCs (No Objection Certificates) documents, coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure timely approval.
• Review Construction NOCs documents and follow through to final approvals.
• Design and size temporary and permanent traffic signs in line with RTA standards.
• Coordinate with RTA Services Authority and developers to ensure road safety compliance, especially for traffic diversions.
• Study and design traffic diversion plans for sewer and storm network projects in accordance with RTA regulations.
• Ensure traffic diversions are implemented and maintained to standard, safeguarding public safety.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction and supervision of infrastructure and road management projects.
• Proficiency in traffic analysis software such as SIDRA and Highway Capacity Software (HCS).
• Strong knowledge of traffic count and traffic analysis tools.
• Experience with temporary and permanent traffic sign designs, in compliance with RTA standards.
• A valid UAE driving license.
