Vitreoretinal Opthalmologist Surgeon Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive retinal exams for patients and interpret diagnostic tests






• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for a wide range of ophthalmologic conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments
• Perform surgical procedures, such as vitrectomy, retinal laser surgery, and intravitreal injections
• Lead and direct a team of ophthalmology technicians, nurses, and support staff
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements in retinal surgery and incorporate new techniques into practice
• Foster strong partnerships within the medical community and participate in clinical research and educational activities
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and adhere to all legal and ethical standards of care

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in ophthalmology, with subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Vitreoretinal Ophthalmologist Surgeon
• Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in using advanced ophthalmic equipment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Must be Western-trained
