Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring smooth billing processes.
• Maintain accurate cash register records, including opening and closing balances.
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed to minimize discrepancies and errors.
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries.
• Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
• Monitor and report any cash shortages or discrepancies immediately to management.
• Assist in stock checks and inventory support when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Support daily store operations and collaborate with team members for smooth workflow.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial transactions and customer information.
• Follow proper security procedures to prevent theft or fraud.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional certifications are an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar retail role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple transactions efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible with financial transactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
