Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate invoice processing and general ledger data entry, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Verify invoices against inventory movement records, ensuring all supporting documents are complete before goods movement.
• Ensure timely payments to both external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Handle daily bookkeeping activities, maintaining accurate financial records and entries.
• Monitor bank balances and cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and provide supporting documents for VAT and Corporate Tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
• Assist in performing bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
• Maintain and clear bank accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions and records.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial data flow.
• Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit processes by preparing and providing necessary financial documentation.
• Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Experience in handling VAT and Corporate Tax documentation.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external parties.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Candidate must be currently present in the UAE.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
