Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Support accounts payable (AP) by verifying supplier invoices and processing payments on time.
• Assist in accounts receivable (AR) by preparing invoices and tracking customer payments.
• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and documentation in an organized manner.
• Perform basic data entry tasks in accounting systems with high accuracy.
• Assist in bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions match statements.
• Monitor and track expenses and petty cash, maintaining proper records.
• Support preparation of financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data flow.
• Maintain proper filing systems for invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
• Support internal and external audit processes by organizing required documents.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform additional ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or Junior Accountant.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Preference will be given to candidates with factory or manufacturing industry experience.
