Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record daily inventory transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare and post inventory-related journal entries, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
• Coordinate closely with the warehouse team to ensure stock accuracy and proper documentation.
• Maintain and update inventory records, including stock movements, adjustments, and balances.
• Prepare periodic inventory reports, providing insights into stock levels and discrepancies.
• Assist in conducting periodic and annual stock counts, ensuring physical and system records match.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, supporting corrective actions and improvements.
• Support accounts payable and receivable related to inventory transactions when required.
• Assist in month-end closing processes, including inventory reconciliation and reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for inventory and financial records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support audit processes by providing inventory-related documents and reports.
• Work with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in improving inventory control processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting tasks as required by the finance team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in inventory or warehouse accounting.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Odoo is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and inventory data.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and accounting principles.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
