Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Record collections, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Perform monthly closing activities, including reconciliations and preparation of schedules.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal review.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and cash management activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including preparation and filing support.
• Assist in balance sheet preparation and financial analysis.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial records.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documents and schedules.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Assist in improving accounting processes for better efficiency and compliance.
• Perform additional ad hoc accounting tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

• Preferred age: 35–40 years.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• 3–4 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently.
• Degree or qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Experience in monthly closing and balance sheet preparation.
• Exposure to cash management, AR/AP, and general ledger functions.
• Prior experience in charitable or non-profit accounting is an advantage.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with a valid residency visa.
