Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the full spectrum of branch accounting operations, including receivables, payables, fixed assets, and inter-unit reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries for branch activities.
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow, ensuring proper control and reporting.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
• Manage trade-related banking activities, including Letters of Credit (LCs) and bank guarantees.
• Ensure compliance with Oman financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors to finalize branch financial statements.
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns in accordance with local regulations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis for management review.
• Monitor branch financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with head office for inter-branch transactions and reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all financial activities.
• Support implementation and improvement of accounting processes and controls.
• Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Oman as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Professional certification: CPA / CMA (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of branch accounting and financial reporting.
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, GP System, and ERP accounting software.
• Experience in handling LCs, bank guarantees, and trade finance.
• Good understanding of Oman tax regulations and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
