Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) including supplier invoices and vendor payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile client accounts accurately.
• Coordinate with operations and sales teams for billing and payment tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and management summaries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
• Support month-end closing activities and assist during audits.
• Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collections from customers.
• Organize and maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems.
• Record journal entries and update the general ledger accurately.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting when required.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of accounting experience (freight forwarding experience is a strong advantage).
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Professional, organized, and reliable work approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
