Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance purposes.
• Support VAT documentation, tax compliance, and audit preparation processes.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and management regarding financial matters.
• Analyze financial data and prepare management reports to support decision-making.
• Maintain inventory and asset records where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations and company financial procedures.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a Construction or Joinery company is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Knowledge of project accounting and cost control within the construction sector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
