Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date accounting records.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Handle VAT-related documentation, calculations, and filing requirements in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Ensure all financial records comply with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor company expenses and verify supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and reports.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper document management.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions when required.
• Provide financial and administrative support to management as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis functions.
• Experience with VAT filing, VAT compliance, and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the perfume manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
