Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain updated accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and supporting financial documentation.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile various ledger accounts regularly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and summaries for management review.
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Verify customer and vendor records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Support audit activities by preparing required schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial procedures.
• Monitor financial records for accuracy and identify any inconsistencies.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to finance and accounting operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• CA Inter or CMA qualification is preferred.
• Experience working in an audit firm is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, accounting entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing KYC documentation.
• Understanding of financial record management and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting functions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
