Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and supporting schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation for all accounting transactions.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain organized accounting records for audits.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and vendor payments.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
• Reconcile supplier and customer account balances.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies promptly.

VAT & Bank Reconciliation

• Prepare and maintain VAT-related records and documentation.
• Assist in VAT return preparation and compliance.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile cash balances and financial transactions.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences.
• Ensure timely completion of financial reconciliations.

Financial Reporting & ERPNext

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accurate records using ERPNext.
• Ensure data integrity within the ERP system.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist management with financial analysis and budgeting.

Compliance & Coordination

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with Procurement, HR, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes.
• Perform additional finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), VAT, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ERPNext (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with a professional attitude.
