Key Responsibilities

Stock & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory information.
• Update stock quantities whenever materials are received, issued, transferred, or returned.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory to the supervisor.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and assist with inventory counts.
• Ensure stock records match the actual materials available in the store.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inventory movements.

Receiving Materials

• Receive incoming materials, products, and supplies from suppliers or other locations.
• Check received items against purchase orders, delivery notes, or relevant documents.
• Verify quantities, descriptions, and general condition of materials.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the concerned department.
• Record received materials accurately in stock registers or inventory systems.
• Arrange newly received materials in their designated storage locations.

Issuing & Arranging Materials

• Issue materials to authorized employees, departments, or project teams.
• Verify material requests before issuing stock.
• Maintain proper records of all material issues and returns.
• Arrange materials systematically for easy identification and access.
• Follow appropriate storage practices to minimize damage, loss, or wastage.
• Keep frequently required materials properly organized and accessible.

Store Organization

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store or warehouse area.
• Label shelves, storage areas, and materials where required.
• Ensure materials are stored according to their type and usage.
• Maintain proper housekeeping within the store.
• Report damaged storage equipment, safety concerns, or unsuitable storage conditions.
• Follow company procedures for material handling and warehouse safety.

Documentation & Data Entry

• Perform basic data entry related to stock and inventory activities.
• Maintain receiving notes, issue records, stock registers, and supporting documents.
• Update inventory information using computer systems or spreadsheets.
• Prepare basic stock reports when required.
• Maintain accurate physical and digital records.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and properly filed.

Requirements

• Basic educational qualification.
• Currently residing in the UAE.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to maintain stock records and update inventory accurately.
• Knowledge of receiving, issuing, and arranging materials.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
