KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare journal entries, receipts, payment vouchers, invoices, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Verify invoices, bills, receipts, and payment documents before processing.
• Maintain organized physical and digital financial files.
• Assist senior accounting staff with routine accounting activities.

Bookkeeping & Reconciliation

• Maintain accurate ledger accounts and update financial records regularly.
• Assist with bank, customer, supplier, and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting records and report them to the concerned senior accountant.
• Assist in tracking outstanding receivables and supplier payments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounts and periods.

Accounting Software

• Enter and maintain financial information using Tally, ERPNext, and Zoho Books.
• Assist with generating invoices, receipts, reports, and account statements through accounting software.
• Maintain accurate digital records and ensure accounting data is properly updated.
• Learn and adapt to company-specific accounting systems and procedures.
• Assist with basic system-based financial reporting and documentation.

VAT & Corporate Tax Support

• Maintain basic knowledge of UAE VAT filing requirements.
• Assist in organizing VAT-related invoices, records, and supporting documents.
• Support the preparation of information required for VAT filing.
• Develop basic understanding of UAE Corporate Tax requirements and accounting documentation.
• Maintain proper financial records required for tax and compliance purposes.
• Assist senior accounting staff with tax-related documentation and reports.

Reporting & Administrative Support

• Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and financial summaries.
• Support management with basic financial information when required.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Freshers can apply.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Must have knowledge of Tally, ERPNext, and Zoho Books.
• Basic knowledge of VAT Filing and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Good numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Honest, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Male candidates are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team.
