KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial transaction records.
• Support bookkeeping activities, including recording invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, and other accounting entries.
• Assist with processing supplier and customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Maintain updated records of supplier and customer transactions.
• Assist with tracking outstanding receivables and payable balances.
• Perform basic bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations under supervision.
• Investigate discrepancies and assist senior accountants in resolving accounting differences.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, accounting schedules, and management information.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and organized financial documentation.
• Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, vouchers, statements, and other supporting documents.
• Assist with VAT-related accounting activities and maintain supporting records.
• Support other tax and accounting-related tasks as assigned by the finance team.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of required accounting schedules.
• Ensure accounting entries and supporting documents are complete and properly maintained.
• Assist with audit-related documentation and information requests when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain invoices, approvals, and supporting documents.
• Prepare basic reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data management.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
