Accountant Full Time

Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Accountant who will support the growth of the company and help in improving processes and efficiency. It will also support various other departments within different duties and aspects.

Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries of accrual, amortization, depreciation, WIP reversal and WIP calculation.
• Update Job cards (task lines, project code, business streams, WIP method, and budget selling price and cost..
• Update Job planning lines (budget hours, selling price and cost), update SLA.
• Reconcile job’s project value between NAV and SharePoint.
• Monthly monitoring of archived project for full recognition of revenue (PS/PM/SA/CTA).
• Ensure that overhead accounts are accurate and properly supported.
• Prepare and update monthly balance sheet schedules.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, variances, and reconciling items (for all assigned accounts) in a timely manner.
• Create fixed asset ID and post asset acquisition.
• Daily monitoring of bank balance, and process intercompany fund transfers, remittances of taxes.
• Come up with initiatives to improve efficiency of the existing processes.
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Experienced with general ledger functions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft NAV, highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advance Microsoft excel skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Being able to understand complex business processes and activities.
• Flexible and structured work approach based on the job requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others and reconcile differences among resources/departments.
• Ability to speak and write in English is required; Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred.
• Able to manage high volume workload and tight deadlines.
• Takes initiative and ownership of work.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
