Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable functions with accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle daily accounting entries, general ledger posting, and financial reconciliations.

• Oversee sales accounting, including invoice posting, pricing verification, and payment tracking.

• Maintain cash collection records and ensure proper documentation of receipts.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Monitor sales transactions and coordinate with the sales team for data accuracy.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

• Ensure compliance with DOPO accounting standards related to the perfume industry.

• Utilize Odoo ERP for daily accounting tasks and reporting (preferred).

• Maintain organized financial documentation and assist auditors during financial review.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the Perfume Industry (DOPO experience preferred).

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable/payable, general ledger entries, and cash collection processes.

• Proven experience in sales accounting and handling customer accounts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Odoo ERP is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Must hold a valid UAE driving license.

• Based in UAQ or willing to relocate.
