Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Monitoring & Reconciliation:
  Maintain accurate stock records, perform regular stock audits, and reconcile physical inventory with system records to identify and resolve variances.

• Daily Accounting Entries:
  Record all warehouse-related financial transactions, including purchase receipts, sales dispatches, material transfers, and expense entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Warehouse Financial Reporting:
  Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse financial reports, including stock status, consumption updates, aging reports, and cost summaries.

• Coordination with Head Office Accounts Team:
  Communicate regularly with the Head Office to align financial data, share reports, clarify discrepancies, and support overall financial planning and auditing processes.

• Ensuring Accurate and Timely Documentation:
  Maintain proper documentation of invoices, delivery notes, GRNs, stock reports, and other relevant financial records, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible for audits or reviews.

• Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and ledger reconciliation.

• Support internal audits by providing necessary documents and clarifying warehouse-level financial transactions.

• Monitor warehouse expenses, verify bills, and ensure timely submission for approval and payment.

• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to address any discrepancies in stock movement or documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in warehouse accounting or inventory-based financial roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP/accounting software.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
