Accountant Full Time

Looking for a career-driven Accountant job in Dubai with Eben Johnson Consultants? This role focuses on consulting-based accounting, VAT compliance, financial reporting, and tax advisory support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support tax preparation activities by organizing financial data, preparing documentation, and assisting in timely tax filings in compliance with statutory requirements.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and reconciliations.

• Assist with payroll processing, including salary calculations, attendance coordination, deductions, and payroll-related documentation.

• Support audit activities by preparing schedules, financial statements, and responding to internal and external audit requirements.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies.

• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and summaries for management review.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.

• Proficiency in accounting software; prior experience with Zoho Books is a strong advantage.

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is preferred.

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.

• Experience supporting tax preparation, payroll, audits, and AP/AR functions is required.

Preference

• Preference will be given to candidates who are available to join immediately.

• Candidates under spouse or husband sponsorship will be given priority consideration.

• Applicants with hands-on experience using Zoho Books will be highly preferred.
