Accountant Full Time

Looking for a professional Accountant job in Abu Dhabi with Ultra Medical Center? This role supports healthcare accounting, medical billing reconciliation, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, invoices, and supporting documentation.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, expense summaries, and variance analyses for management.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Assist in VAT compliance, tax documentation, and statutory reporting as per UAE regulations.

• Coordinate with internal departments such as billing, insurance, procurement, and operations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Support audit activities by preparing required financial data and documentation for internal and external auditors.

• Monitor costs, analyze financial data, and identify opportunities for improved cost control.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with healthcare accounting processes such as insurance billing, patient receivables, and vendor payments.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; strong command of MS Excel.

• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE healthcare sector (clinics, hospitals, medical centers, or healthcare groups).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• Experience handling VAT, healthcare billing cycles, and regulatory compliance is preferred.

• Ability to work cooperatively with the team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
