Accountant Full Time

The Accountant role in Dubai with Essence Accounting and Tax Consultancy suits professionals skilled in tax planning, VAT filing, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts in accordance with company policies and UAE accounting standards.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.

• Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and ledger postings accurately.

• Perform regular bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare financial reports for management review.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT calculations, filings, and documentation maintenance.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid business decision-making.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Assist auditors during internal and external audits by providing required financial records and explanations.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial data at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven accounting experience, preferably within the UAE market.

• Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT laws, and financial compliance requirements.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis.
