Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.

• Maintain proper books of accounts, including general ledger, journals, expenses, and income entries.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and effective follow-up on collections.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate cash and bank balances.

• Monitor and control expenses, ensuring costs are aligned with approved budgets.

• Support VAT-related documentation and compliance, including record maintenance and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.

• Assist in audit processes by preparing schedules, supporting documents, and explanations for auditors.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting.

• Maintain well-organized financial records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents for audit and reference purposes.

• Use accounting software and MS Excel to prepare reconciliations, reports, and financial analysis.

• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Support management in financial planning and decision-making through accurate reporting.

• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and act with professionalism and integrity.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth finance operations.

• Handle additional accounting or administrative tasks assigned by management.

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding financial matters when required.

Requirements:

• Post-graduation or equivalent degree in Commerce from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

• Candidate must be currently based in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practical accounting operations.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.

• Proven ability to work effectively as a team player.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
