Accountant Full Time

Accountant jobs in Dubai continue to grow, especially within the expanding trading and Free Zone (FZE) sector. MASA Trading FZE is seeking experienced finance professionals skilled in VAT compliance, UAE corporate tax regulations, accounts payable and receivable, inventory accounting, and general ledger reconciliation. Candidates with knowledge of SAP accounting systems, Oracle Financials, IFRS reporting standards, budgeting, cost control, and audit documentation will find strong career opportunities in Dubai’s highly competitive trading environment.

Mandatory Requirements

• Language: fluent in Tagalog and fluent in English
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms
• Additional experience in a trading company (experience within JAFZA is a strong advantage)
• Total professional experience: 4–6 years
• UAE experience is a must
• Must be able to join immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate records within the ERP system
• Book accruals and ensure all checklist items are recorded at the month end closing
• Perform supplier reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Record payments efficiently while ensuring compliance with internal financial policies
• Handle the bookkeeping of portal expenses and petty cash transactions
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments
• Support with ad hoc administrative and financial requirements as needed

Requirements:

• Language: fluent in Tagalog and fluent in English
• 4 – 6 years of experience in Accounting
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• ERP experience (Odoo, Dynamics)
• Knowledgeable in maintaining accounting policies and procedures
