Accountant Full Time

💼 Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the finance team, you will:

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing financial data.

• Enter and maintain accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 with precision.

• Support financial decision-making by analysing options and recommending best practices.

• Compile and deliver financial reports, including balance sheets, P&Ls, and trend analysis.

• Ensure compliance by preparing VAT returns and corporate tax filings per FTA regulations.

• Coordinate with external auditors to finalise annual audits.

• Reconcile discrepancies and ensure all transactions are properly documented and auditable.

• Maintain internal controls and ensure confidentiality of financial data.

• Assist with special projects and workflow enhancements as needed.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• CA, CMA, CPA (qualified or part-qualified) or equivalent certification.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in audit and 3+ years in corporate accounting, general ledger, or project accounting.

• Experience in a large organization or multinational company is preferred.

Technical Proficiency

• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a must).

• Good IFRS knowledge

• Strong understanding of accounting systems and internal controls.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
