Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and daily accounting entries
• Handle bookkeeping and accounting operations using QuickBooks
• Assist in VAT return preparation and filing in line with FTA regulations
• Perform bank, ledger, and accounts payable/receivable reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with audits and regulatory compliance
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax laws

Required Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1+ year of UAE accounting experience
• VAT or UAE Tax certification is an advantage.
