Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying supplier invoices and processing timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, tracking collections, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions match statements.
• Maintain and update general ledger entries, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
• Manage VAT-related data, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and supporting VAT filing.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly summaries and performance reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are complete.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records and smooth operations.
• Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE financial regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Assist in improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform additional ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.
• Good understanding of VAT and UAE accounting practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
