Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger updates.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare management reports and financial performance summaries.
• Assist with VAT documentation, tax-related requirements, and financial compliance processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoicing, payments, and financial matters.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
• Support external auditors and consultants during financial reviews and audits.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA is required or highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
• Proven experience in finance operations, ledger management, and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho Finance applications, or related Zoho accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience within a service-based company, consultancy, marketing agency, or similar business environment is preferred.
