Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Record, verify, and maintain accurate financial transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly classified.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process employee expense claims and verify supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure documentation is readily available for audits and reviews.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, accounting standards, and UAE financial regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls.
• Assist management with administrative and finance-related tasks as required.
• Travel for banking, document submission, or official finance-related activities when necessary using a valid UAE driving license.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in Dubai, UAE.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and financial reporting functions.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and ledger management.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and adapt to new accounting systems and procedures.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
