Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, and accounting adjustments.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.
• Verify the accuracy of financial documents and accounting records.
• Maintain organized accounting files, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial analysis when required.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and reporting needs.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
