Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Maintain accurate accounting records and record daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments promptly.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts and supporting schedules.
• Verify financial documents before recording transactions.
• Ensure all accounting records are complete and up to date.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Prepare invoices, payment schedules, and financial reconciliations.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer, supplier, and ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies.
• Generate financial reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Receivables & Payables Management

• Monitor outstanding customer receivables and follow up on pending payments.
• Ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and paid on time.
• Track payment schedules and maintain proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate aging reports for receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding payment approvals and invoice verification.

Compliance & Administration

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing required documentation.
• Protect the confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• UAE accounting experience is an advantage.
• Professional attitude with integrity and confidentiality.
