KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record routine financial transactions accurately and maintain updated accounting records.
• Process supplier and customer invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Verify invoices and financial documents for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approvals.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Maintain accurate records of outstanding invoices, payments, receipts, and account balances.
• Support preparation of account statements and reconciliation schedules.
• Assist with bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting records and coordinate with relevant team members for resolution.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical financial documentation and records.
• Assist with filing invoices, receipts, vouchers, payment documents, and other accounting paperwork.
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules using Microsoft Excel.
• Support the finance team during month-end accounting and closing activities.
• Assist in collecting financial information and supporting documents required for reporting and management review.
• Coordinate with procurement, project, commercial, administration, and operations teams regarding accounting requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and other external parties regarding invoices, payments, statements, and documentation when required.
• Follow up on pending invoices, approvals, payments, and reconciliation items.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
• Assist with audit preparation by organizing financial documents and supporting schedules.
• Follow company accounting procedures, internal controls, and documentation standards.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the façade industry.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Practical knowledge of invoice processing, payments, receipts, reconciliations, and account statements.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work accurately with financial data and maintain organized records.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good teamwork and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
