Assistant Storekeeper Full Time

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Storekeeper with at least 2 years of experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) or Electromechanical industry. The Assistant Storekeeper will be responsible for supporting the storekeeping team in managing inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse or storage area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and organizing MEP materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking stock levels, materials issued, and new stock received.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and equipment to prevent damage and ensure quick access when needed.
• Assist in the preparation of material requisitions and stock orders.
• Perform periodic stock-taking and ensure any discrepancies are reported to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area, ensuring all materials are easy to locate.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards in the store.
• Assist in managing the logistics of materials for various projects and departments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a storekeeper or assistant storekeeper in the MEP or Electromechanical industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and materials efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of material handling and safety standards.
• Must be based in the UAE.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
