Key Responsibilities

• Handle all customer billing activities with accuracy and professionalism.

• Process cash, card, UPI, and other forms of payments while ensuring correct accounting of each transaction.

• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, credit notes, and exchange bills as required.

• Ensure the billing counter is organized, clean, and fully equipped with necessary stationery and system access.

• Maintain daily cash registers, reconcile balances, and report variances immediately.

• Assist customers with billing-related queries and provide a friendly checkout experience.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding customer details, pricing, and financial data.

• Verify item details, barcodes, weights, pricing, and offers before completing billing to avoid discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, especially for returns, exchanges, and special discounts.

• Coordinate with the sales team to verify product details and resolve any issues quickly.

• Maintain accurate daily transaction reports and support the accounts team during audits or reviews.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in the jewelry industry billing is preferred.

• High accuracy in cash handling, billing entries, and transaction management.

• Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with billing systems or POS software.

• Honest, responsible, and customer-friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm and polite during busy hours.

• Basic understanding of gold/silver purity, weight measurement, and jewelry billing terminology is an added advantage.
